Markup page Preview

Markup page is one of the notebook page types. You build a dashboard by writing tags for charts and SQL run results defined on a doc page, parameter inputs, headings, and text. In addition to the items you can place on a grid page, you can use conditional display, tabs, collapsible sections, and more.

  • Charts and SQL run results from doc pages, and text and tables that use values from the results
  • Parameter inputs and per-element parameter overrides

Creating a markup page

  1. In the page list at the top of the left sidebar in a notebook, select Add > Page > Markup page.
  2. Select Code in the header to open the Code panel in the right sidebar.
  3. Write tags in the editor in the panel. The main area shows what you write.

You can also create a markup page from the layout of a grid page by selecting Duplicate as markup page in the grid page's menu.

Code panel

The Code panel in the right sidebar offers tag completion and shows errors in the code. The bottom of the panel has the following tabs.

You can also edit markup pages with the Codatum CLI and the AI agent. For details on the syntax, elements, and expressions, see the Codatum CLI documentation (in Japanese).

Running

  • Run all runs every chart and SQL result element on the page, including elements hidden by conditions.
  • By default, changing a parameter value doesn't run the page. You can set each parameter input so that it runs the page automatically when its value changes.
